Seeking numerous volunteers to form three sub-committees that will focus on planning and implementing age appropriate activities. The three sub-committees are elementary, teens, and young adults. They will coordinate activities and service opportunities that will enhance the faith formation of our youth in a safe, loving and accepting environment outside of the classroom. Youth Ministry provides a balance of integrated concepts of USCCB'S (United States Conference of Catholic Bishop's) Renewing the Vision. Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is an example of one of theses activities.

Religious education instructors and aides instruct youth, and adults in various religious education programs. The Diocese of Honolulu requires all volunteers to pass a Safe Environment screening and background check online. Volunteers must also have appropriate training in both religious subject matter and teaching methods. Do not let this stop you. When you volunteer, we'll make sure that you receive the training that you need. Self-learning programs are available through the Diocese online, as well as, on island workshops. Aides assist the instructor in the classroom setting.
